The 2006 Hidaka Prize of the Oceanographic Society of Japan

to the paper entitled by Variability of Northeastward Current Southeast of Northern Ryukyu Islands. (J. Oceanography, Vol.60(2), 351-363. by H. Ichikawa, H. Nakamura, A. Nishina, and M. Higashi).

     Commemorating the late Professor Koji Hidaka, the Hidaka Prize is awarded to a member of the Society who is the first author of the most excellent papers published during the previous two years by Oceanographic Soc. Japan. The prize is awarded annually.

 

The 2017 Uda Prize of the Oceanographic Society of Japan

to the notable contribution to the progress in oceanography by playing outstanding roles in educational outreach.
